First
Impressions
I'd heard enough good things about
the guys at Fun Factory who are responsible
for a new range of silicone toys to
be curious and strangely excited when
my latest Fed EX parcel turned up
on the doorstep. It wasn't long before
I had my new battery operated boyfriend
in my grasp and he certainly was a
cute guy! Green, cute and the sort
of guy you might want to take home
to Mum, okay maybe not, but he sure
was cute and he just begged to be
played with. With his caterpillar
like appearance and bulbous head it
wasn't hard to see he would probably
be a fun guy to have around anyway.
The real question of whether he would
tickle my fancy and in the right spots
where still to be answered so I headed
into the bedroom for me and my new
found green guy.
Solo
Play
My first challenge was getting the
two AA batteries the G-Spot worm required
in place. Opening the battery compartment
was a little tricky but once done
I was pleased with the amount of juice
this delivers. One of the reasons
silicone is a superior toy material
is it spreads vibrations along its
entire length wonderfully well, and
that proved to be the case here. My
green meanie, as he had by now been
dubbed by my entire household, was
rearing and ready to go and with its
variable speed control I couldn't
wait.
As
I played I realized once more why
I enjoy silicone as a material, especially
as it soon warms up to body temperature
and those delicious vibes I referred
to earlier. From its tip to its top
this delivered whether I was playing
Clitcally or G-Spotting, which is
a lot more fun than train spotting!
The graduated ridges along this worm's
shaft certainly brought in a new dimension
and his bulbous head it all the right
spots for sure. It took some twists
and turns before I eventually hit
that spot but it was fun finding it
and fun is what solo play is all about
after all.
It
wasn't long before the green meanie
fulfilled his promise and lived up
to his maker's name of Fun Factory;
I know I certainly experienced fun!
Partner
Play
Hubby was a little put off at first
by the fact that he was going to be
brandishing a caterpillar but soon
overcame this as he watched my face
as hit the right spots. We added some
fun at a later date by leaving the
Meanie in the fridge for a while before
playing with him. Hubby didn't find
the vibrations powerful enough to
make him come but he did enjoy the
vibrations and this made for fun foreplay,
although we both recommend not putting
this in the fridge before applying
to your partner's appendage, it doesn't
have quite the same effect on men
as it does on women -)) We've also
had some fun in the shower as this
toy is waterproof, which is of course
a major plus.
What's
It Add Up To?
Once I leant the trick to opening
the battery compartment this toy was
a whole lot of fun and versatile in
many way, because it could be used
for both clitical as well as G-Spot
play. The speed control was at the
base and because it's tilted it was
easier to control than some other
toys that I have played with that
don't have the tilt on the controller.
One of the things I really liked about
this worm was the fact that it was
waterproof which made clean up a breeze.
One word of warning here though, make
sure you keep your worm packed away
from lint and fluff, for some reason
it picks it up lie a magnet. I found
by washing it, allowing it to air
dry and then storing it in a small
plastic box worked best. I wish they
would come up with a different name
for this particular toy as I tend
to associate worms with fishing, although
we have fun fishing for my right spots
the connotations are somewhat off
putting at first.
All
in all this a good quality, fun toy
which when coupled with the waterproof
and fun factors makes for money well
spent in my opinion. The Green Meanie
is now a firm favorite in this reviewer's
toy box and you have to work hard
to earn that distinction.
