First Impressions:
After almost seven years of reviewing sex products I thought I had just about seen it all, but I should of known better! Someone, somewhere is probably busy thinking up something innovative that is designed to give adults everywhere pleasure right now. When I saw an advert for the Cone I was intrigued, amazed and puzzled in part because of it's new shape but I've never been afraid to try something new, so I ordered one!

It arrived on my doorstep in the usual unassuming brown box that most toys are delivered in but I was pleasantly surprised by the packaging that met my gaze as I pulled my latest acquisition from between the polystyrene peanuts. It was definitely pink and it was definitely cone or to be more exact pyramid shaped at this point. I'm a sucker for good packaging, something that I feel often gets over looked in the adult industry.

It wasn't long before I had freed my new toy from it's pink pyramid and what met my eyes next intrigued me even more. A pink cone, about 7" at it's base, two buttons that at this point I assumed were controls and an instruction pamphlet that was as classy as any I've seen in the industry. I sat it at the kitchen table and Hubby and I explored the cone a little better at this point. Hubbies comments ranged from strange to isn't that going to hurt, until he actually touched the material. The base is hard but the point of the cone and the surrounding areas are warm to the touch and have some give.

Here we encountered our first problem. I generally keep a stash of batteries of various sizes because you never know when you might need one. Of course the only type I didn't have were the one's the cone required, the C type, arggggghhh. A quick trip to the nearest drug store cured that ill. We read the instructions and quickly installed three of the little devils into the base of the cone as per the instructions.

In our eagerness to turn on the cone we forgot to read the instructions any further and we genuinely thought we had brought a dud, until we revisited the instructions and found the way to turn our cone on. Hold down the button for two seconds and something will happen and surprise you... it certainly did us. The vibrations the first setting on the controls resulted in a steady vibration which was pleasant but by pressing the button again we were met by a myriad of different vibrations and pulsation's. Oh the possibilities!

Road Test
So we made our way to the bedroom and placed our new toy on the bed. Our first puzzle was finding a way to use the cone comfortably because sitting on it simply seemed to easy. I tried a myriad of positions until I found being on all fours with a pillow supporting my belly allowed me to get comfortable on the bed but also covered a large surface area, allowing the cones vibrations to spread throughout the parts that they were supposed to.

Hubby took great delight in playing with the 16 different program combinations that are possible to achieve with the cone, almost as much as I enjoyed the various sensations that were produced within me as he toyed. The sensations ranged from vibes to pulsating to something in-between the two and made this reviewer a very happy and horny lady!

The cones design allowed me to position myself where the vibrations or pulsation's gave me the most pleasure easily. The fact that I didn't have to hold anything was a real plus as well, Hubby saw the benefits of a hands free toy first hand as we continued to play. The vibrations and pulsation's seemed to spread out over a wider area than many other toys I've played with because the cone has a wider surface area that comes into contact with your bits.

We played around with some edging techniques which was really easy to do with the cones programs until he found the vibration that put me over the edge. It's been a while since a toy induced orgasm has left me breathless, but the cone achieved that I'm happy to report.

The next day I decided to give the cone another go. This time I sat writing at my desk and placed the cone on my office chair with the controls facing outward so I could push the buttons easily. It wasn't long before I wasn't writing too much, I found myself playing instead. I quickly discovered the position that best worked for me and that squeezing my inner thighs around the cone intensified the vibe that were hitting just the right spot by this time. I liked the pulsating vibrations which is like having an orgasm by Morse code, as the pulses on many of the programs are random. When I was ready to hit the big O I increased the intensity of the vibes and away I went and was left breathless for the second time in less than 24 hours! Work has never been this much fun before...

What's It Add Up To?
The producers of the cone really thought this toy through before releasing it onto the market. The design is like nothing I've encountered before and the controls are so easy to use they are almost as sinful as the vibrations and pulses they produce. Clean up is a breeze, requiring nothing more than a quick wipe over. Powerful but quiet enough to use without attracting to much attention as well the cone is a definite hit in this household.

Hubby thought this would be a solo play toy but has been pleasantly surprised by how with a little thought and imagination we have incorporated the Cone into partner play as well.

If you do buy the cone makes sure you have at least three type C batteries at hand for when it arrives. There is nothing more annoying that not being able to play because you don't have the right sized batteries!!

In this case I have to say you definitely get what you pay for as this is a higher end product with a higher end price range, but it's versatility justifies the higher price in my book. I would love to see a rechargeable version of the cone in the future as well as a waterproof one as the possibilities seem endless.

If you buy only one toy this year I would say this is one that you should definitely The Cone as a top priority!
