Cell phones are now a part of most of everyone's daily life, some of us, myself included, would love to lose theirs at times but the BodiTalk by OhMiBod, promised to give me a new reason to renew my contract as well as give new meaning to the term, 'call me.' Would it live up to the hype? There's only really one way to find out...

First Impressions
The first thing that hit me when I opened the plain box that this toy arrived on my doorstep in was quality! Call me strange, but, when it comes to packaging I could be described as something of a snob. I loved this packaging, it spelt quality from the get go, simple, understated quality and actually made me want to open the box and explore further. Which is exactly what I did next...

I'm happy to report that I wasn't disappointed with the contents of the box either because the attention to packaging continued inside. I was presented with a sophisticated looking pink vibe, a velvet carrying case and clear instructions. Yes, you read that correctly, clear instructions! Oh, if only all sex toy manufacturers would pay this much attention to details this reviewer would be a lot happier for sure. I've lost count of the times I've spent trying to figure out where the batteries go, which is the correct placement, the best way to clean my new toy, etc.

The vibrator itself smacks of quality, it felt good in my hand even before I had the 2AA batteries in their correct placement but the real surprise came when I turned the BodiTalk on and discovered that not only where the vibrations quiet, but they traveled the entire length of the toys shaft as well. Things seemed to be going from good to better and I hoped the best was yet to come as I asked Hubby to call me on my cell phone, much to his surprise. It wasn't long before he discovered why I had made the request though. As my cell phone rang, the BodiTalk activated itself much to his astonishment and my pleasure! Now I had his full attention for sure.

Of course at this point, he simply had to examine the Boditalk up close and personal and it wasn't long before he had the battery compartment open and was busy exploring. Once his curiosity was satisfied he agreed to take the BodiTalk for a test run and see what mischief it could really cause.

The Road Test
He called me again and the Boditalk again switched itself on. We quickly discovered it had a preset program that activated five preset sensations and they would last as long as the call was connected. There were times when this could be frustrating as I wanted more of one sensation than it gave me, but then again anticipation can also be a great thing, and when the orgasm finally hit, it was definitely worth the wait.

One advantage of the BodiTalk over other techno vibes is that it also has a manual button, which allowed me to put it through its paces without the aid of either Hubby or my cell phone.

Measuring in at 7" this vibe is designed to be multi purpose, not only was it great for clitioral vibrations, it's fully insertable, and can be used on the anus which makes it pretty versatile to begin with. It's also made from a Phthalate free plastic which is another plus.

I began testing the BodiTalk on it's manual setting which is activated by simply pressing a triangular shaped button at the bottom of the cigar shaped vibe. Each press of the button produces a new sensation. There are seven types of vibration incorporated into the BodiTalk and you're sure to find something to please your mood, I know I did! I loved the offset motion that produces a pulsing vibration, sometimes a girl just needs a different type of stimulation to a straight buzz and BodiTalk can easily deliver just that.

I loved the fact that the vibrations the BodiTalk produced travels the length of the vibes body, so when it's inserted you get the full effect of the vibrations. Let's just say the BodiTalk talks my kind of language!

The cigar shape makes this vibe fun for partner play too, and Hubby like me loved the pulsing vibrations. We had some fun trying different positions and using the vibe between us and the results were shall we just say very satisfying.

What's It All Add Up To?
The BodiTalk does for the vibrator what cable did for the Internet and puts it into a new realm of fun. This toy fulfills the three crucial criteria with it comes to sex toys that stay in my toy box: fun, function and fulfillment.

One word of warning here, make sure that you deactivate your BodiTalk before storing it, especially if you're like me and keep certain toys in your office desk drawer. Having to explain to your business colleagues why your desk draw begins buzzing each time someone calls you're cellphone can be hazardous to your health. Yes, this happened to me a few times while I was writing this review but it was an easy fix as the manufacturers have thought of everything. Simply hold down the round control button for three seconds and your buzzing problem is simply solved. To turn that cell phone mode back on simply do the reverse, what could be simpler?

I loved this toy, dual purpose, quality and well thought out make for some fun times. For those in a long distance relationship, this would make a great way to spice up phone sex, and even those of us not in long distance relationships can have lots of fun as Hubby and I proved one afternoon...

Personally I expected less for the $70 I spent, and it's always a pleasant surprise to get more for your money! The BodiTalk is in a league of it's own, the quality is as evident, as is the thought that went into making this hi tech toy and it's fast becoming one of our toy box favorites.
