First Impressions:
When I first opened the package that contained the Venus wand, one of my my first thoughts was that I wanted a pair of earings made in the exact same shape and material as this toy. I just loved the way it caught the spring light that just happened to be streaming in through my window that morning.

As I picked it up I was stuck by how good it felt to hold. There was something manly about this wand and yet at the sametime it had a very beautiful feminine side and was wonderfully smooth to the touch. It just felt and looked plain sexy was the bottom line, but like all toys the real test is in the testing so branishing my wand I rushed for the retreat of my bedroom to see what magic the Venus held for me.

Solo Play: A little dab of lube here and there and I was ready to give this sexy little number a real road test. Normally I'm not a lover of wands as I prefer something with a little buzz to be honest, but there was something about this toy that simply drew me to it plus I've never been one to turn down the chance to test a toy because you never know what your going to like till you've at least tried it.

With this in mind I began to experiment by first rubbing the grooves across my clit which, I have to say was extremly nice, it's coolness making this a sensual experience. As I inserted the Venus I realised the true value of those groves and why they had been placed there. The vagina entrance is the most sensetive part of the whole tunnel and the sensation of having these grooves inserted was something else. I also found that the slighty curved tip was designed to tickle my g spot and it certainly did a fine job of that! I soon discovered I could vary the sensations by rotating and varying the speed of thrusts as I used this toy. Due to the fact that the wand is made of acrylic it's durable and it's this material that gives it a firm but very senual feel whether you're holding it inserting it.

Partner play.
The Venus was one of those toys that I prefer to keep for solo play. It could be used anally on either partner but I prefer to keep anything that doesn't have a flared base in my vagina. One thing we did discover was it makes for a great massager, either by using the nubble at the end of it or simply running it across either partners back. You can also place the Venus in the fridge or the microwave for a short time to vary the sensations as begin your massage. We did experiment a little with oral whilst the wand tickled my g-spot but I found the combined sensations a little too intense for my personal tastes. It was definitly fun trying though!

What's It All Add Up To?
There aren't many toys I would display on my coffee table but this would be an exception to that general rule and it would make a great conversational piece at a dinner party. The material it's made of gave it a sense of sureness as I held it, something that I particularly liked and despite my initial reservations this toy has the ability to help you hit the right spot everytime. Easy to clean and durable this toy and beautiful at the sametime the Venus Wand was a winner for this webmistress.
