I love ebooks, they are simple to download and offer almost
instant gratification or not as has been the case with some
I'd seen in the past. Whether Hotpink would offer me anything
new I had no idea but nothing ventured nothing gained as they
say, and so I ordered. Five minutes later I had my PDF document
downloaded and settled down to read and brush up on my shaving,
waxing and general preening or at least that's what I thought.
What I actually found was much more comprehensive than a few
personal preening tips and I'm please to report that I found
the book easy to read. In fact I ended up reading it in one
session, something that I normally wouldn't do.
Chapter one deals with pube preening and one of the things
that I immediately liked was that the authors emphasized that
it was fine to simply not go there and there is nothing wrong
with au natural. In this chapter they detail the various methods
that are out there, ranging from temporary to permanent. While
the descriptions were good and clear, I did feel they may
have benefited from some illustrations to accompany them.
The
only method that concerned me was sugaring as I felt that
perhaps it should have carried more warnings as done wrong
this can cause some pretty nasty injuries as one of Clitical's
visitors told me. That said the methods were clearly explained
as well as their pros and cons, such as how long you can expect
each to last and the possible cost for each procedure.
Also
featured in this chapter and throughout the entire book are
some interesting facts about the subject at hand as well as
the occasional personal experience which makes the book a
much lighter read than many I've experienced before.
Chapter
two is packed with ideas of how you could prune your bush
if you chose to after reading chapter one. Each style is illustrated
and gives clear details of how to do it and how long you should
expect it to last. Great if you're trying to decide whether
you want a high maintenance garden or one that requires only
the occasional edging.
Chapter
three looks at the way we as females can and perhaps should
celebrate our sexuality more with details such as how to turn
you're daily bath or shower into something of a celebration
as opposed to a chore. Many of the ideas can easily be adapted
to suit a household like mine that consists of more than one
person, although some of them would have been too complicated
for me to personally implement, having that choice was a nice
touch. This part of the book also included a list of items
that you may like to add to your bathroom as well as where
you can find them. In fact each chapter contains what the
authors dub the treasure chest, that contains links to sites
where you can buy the various items they describe. The basic
message that resonated through this chapter as well as the
entire book is take time for you, you're beautiful and you
deserve it.
Chapter
four deals with adding some spice to your love life, including
some great ideas as to how to introduce your lover to your
new look if you've decided that pruning is for you. Included
is a full days menu of sensual activities designed to test
and tease both you and your partners senses. It features things
such as how to talk dirty, homemade body scrub recipes and
allowing your partner to do your pruning for you. There are
a whole host of good ideas and valid tips here.
Chapter
five's intro says it all for me: your orgasm is important:
not how you get there! suprize surprise this chapter deals
with orgasms. What you actually find is an interesting mix
of facts, history and fun, which is my kind of reading. For
example did you know that Marylin Monroe reported that she
never had an orgasm? Neither did I but I guess I do know -))
Also
included is some important health information, which is presented
in an easy to read format. As well as the above the authors
also give us a taste of my favorite subject masturbation and
toys. While it's not comprehensive it brings out many of the
important benefits and elements that all go to make up that
little pleasure pleaser that is masturbation.
The
last chapter of this book presents us with an interview with
four of the best known sex experts in the business and as
a bonus when you purchase the book you are given free access
to the authors site which contains many more interviews and
special consessions.
What's it all add up to?
When
I first picked up Hotpink, I half expected to read a book
dedicated to nothing but pubic preening and possibly a book
that would tell me the only true way to celebrate my sexuality
as a women was to go bare. Nothing could of been further than
the truth I'm glad to report.
What
I actually found, was a fun, informative book, that didn't
preach to me in any way shape or form, which to be honest
was a refreshing change. More than that the authors gave me
practical ways to make decision's about my personal preening,
and a book that was not only entertaining but also erotic
in many ways. A few chosen words and tips, along with several
illustrations and some great photographs gave this book less
of a clinical feel than it would otherwise of had and this
added to my experience as a reader.
Easy
to read, fun and entertaining while learning, what more could
a girl ask for?
