All women are different as to how they need stimulating
and for how long before they will be brought to orgasm. Some
women report that they can masturbate to orgasm in little more
than a minute while others say it can take an hour or more to
achieve a climax. Some women only like very gentle indirect
stimulation of their clitoris and prefer stimulation of other
parts of the body, while others prefer intense, powerful and
direct clitoral stimulation. Until you figure out what works
best for you, masturbating is unlikely to be a fully satisfying
experience and orgasming may be the exception rather than the
rule.
If
you are finding it hard or impossible to reach an orgasm through
masturbation and you suspect the cause is physical (see sections
on medical and mental causes) the following ideas may help.
Techniques
Achieving orgasm through masturbation is a combination of
the physical stimulation of erotic areas of the body and getting
into the right state of mind. Some women can all but reach orgasm
by thinking about a sexual fantasy and so require very little
stimulation while others (most) need a lot more physical stimulation
to achieve a climax. The more stimulation you need the more
likely it is that you will need/want to concentrate on stimulating
your clitoris, as this is the most sensitive and responsive
of the erogenous zones (for most women).
Many
ways exist for stimulating your clitoris during a masturbation
session and no one way is the right way. Take a look around
the rest of the masturbation section here at clitical for many
ideas on techniques that work for other women. Bear in mind
though that what works for one person many not always work for
another. I'd suggest you start by reading the Techniques
section which is packed with ideas and tips.
