"I
like to masturbate but sometimes it gets uncomfortable and I
have to stop, or I realize I have made myself rather sore when
I finish up. Is there something wrong with me, how can I ease
this problem?"
******
This
is not uncommon. The tissue that makes up your vulva, clitoris
and labia is very delicate and sensitive (obvious). Masturbation,
for some girls, is quite a vigorous and prolonged activity,
during which their genitals can take a lot of stimulation and
rubbing. Unless there is plenty of lubrication the result can
be soreness. If this is the case with you then try some additional
lubrication to cut the friction (not the sensation). The old
favorite, KY jelly is good here, as is baby oil or massage oil.
Avoid perfumed oils or detergents/shampoos. These may have the
desired texture but the chemicals can cause irritation and actually
make things worse. It may also be worth considering your technique.
Are you too rough or are you using items that could cause irritation/injury,
such as toys with sharp edges, fingers with rings or sharp nails,
or high powered massagers/vibrators. If this is a possibility
look for ways of protecting yourself such as smoothing sharp
edges or keeping a layer of cloth between you and the toy.
One
final thought. Some infections, including common thrush, can
make you sore down there. If there are any signs of unusual
redness, discharge form your vagina or pisser, if there is any
powdery/creamy goo about, or if the soreness/itchiness happens
at other times - consult your doctor.
